Do you tend to suffer a sleepiness attack after lunch? This smoothie is a great mid-afternoon pick me up!
- 1/2 banana (frozen or fresh)*
- 2 tbsp. oats
- 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp. natural peanut butter
- 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
- 1 cup skim milk (or a milk alternative, such as unsweetened almond milk)
*If you prefer a little more sweetness, add extra banana.
Place all ingredients in a small blender in order listed.
Blend until smooth, adding more milk or water to achieve desired consistency.
